I have never once finished a cup of tea while sewing, it always ends up stone cold on the corner of my cutting table by the time I remember it exists. There's something about having it there that feels essential to the ritual anyway, even though I barely drink it. Wondering if this is a universal sewing room experience or just a personal quirk of mine. What's your equivalent thing that sits nearby but rarely gets used?
