Need a machine that handles both delicate silk and heavy denim

I sew a wide range of projects, from delicate silk blouses to heavy denim jackets, and my current entry-level machine really struggles at both extremes, skipping stitches on silk and stalling on thick denim seams. Looking for recommendations on a machine with enough power for heavy fabric but still gentle enough for lightweight silk without constant tension fiddling between projects. Budget isn't unlimited but I'm willing to invest in something that can genuinely do both well.
