Overlocker versus coverstitch, do I actually need both machines

I'm trying to decide whether to invest in a dedicated coverstitch machine now that I sew a lot more knits, or whether my overlocker's rolled hem and stretch stitch settings are close enough to skip buying a second machine entirely. Space and budget are both limited so I'd rather not buy something redundant. For those who own both, how often do you actually reach for the coverstitch specifically versus just making do with the overlocker for hems?
