Bernina 350 PE skipping stitches only on jersey knits

My Bernina 350 PE sews cotton wovens beautifully but skips stitches every few inches the moment I switch to jersey. I'm using a stretch needle size 75 and have tried loosening the tension slightly with no change. It happens even with a walking foot on. The bobbin case is clean and I changed the needle twice in case it was just dull. Anyone had this exact issue and found a fix that wasn't 'buy a new machine'? Starting to wonder if the feed dogs need adjusting.
