Where to shorten a Grainline Farrow dress for a petite frame

I'm five foot one and the Grainline Farrow dress bodice is drowning me even after picking the size that matches my measurements. I know I need to shorten somewhere but the pattern doesn't have a lengthen/shorten line marked above the waist. Should I take an even amount out across the whole bodice or focus it near the shoulder seam? Also curious how much petites here typically remove for a similar height, just so I'm not guessing blind on my next muslin.
