Which size to cut on Friday Pattern Co Carolyn Pajamas with different measurements

My bust measurement puts me in one size on the Friday Pattern Co Carolyn Pajamas size chart and my hip measurement puts me two sizes up, which is a bigger spread than I've dealt with before. The top is loose fitting so I'm inclined to just cut for the bust, but the pants are more fitted through the hip. Do you blend sizes at the waist seam where the two pieces meet, or cut the larger size throughout and take it in?
