This will be my first time sewing actual denim and I picked possibly the least gentle way to learn, joining the Merchant & Mills Camber Set sew-along with a rigid 12oz denim I found on sale. Already ordered jeans needles and topstitching thread since I know my regular supplies won't cut it. A bit intimidated by the flat-felled seams but figure a structured sew-along with other people at the same stage is the best way to actually get through it.
