Organized a small fabric swap with a few local sewists last weekend, everyone bringing pieces from their stash they knew they'd never use, and it was honestly one of the best sewing-adjacent afternoons I've had in a while. Came home with a lovely wool suiting remnant in exchange for some knit fabric I'd been ignoring for a year. Considering making this a recurring quarterly thing. Anyone else run something similar in their local sewing community?
