Starting a tiny slow fashion brand, lessons from year one

Wrapping up my first year running a tiny slow fashion brand out of my spare room, making small batches of simple linen basics to order rather than holding inventory. Biggest lesson was underestimating how much time sourcing responsibly certified fabric actually takes compared to just clicking buy on a wholesale site. Pricing was also a constant struggle between covering my actual hours and staying at all competitive. Happy to answer questions if anyone's considering doing something similar.
