Walked past a boutique window last week and saw a coat with the most interesting asymmetric closure I've seen in a while, wrapping diagonally across the body instead of a standard center front. I took a photo through the glass, attached here, and I'm trying to figure out roughly how the pattern pieces might be constructed to achieve that closure. Anyone good at reading garment construction from photos willing to weigh in on how this might come together?
