Cutting it close but my holiday party dress is finished with two whole days to spare, which for me is basically a miracle given my track record of finishing things the morning of. Made it in a deep green velvet with a simple fitted bodice and a full skirt, hand-picked the zipper because I had the time this once. The velvet shed everywhere and my vacuum has never worked harder, but the finished dress was absolutely worth the mess.
