Terms of Use

Last updated 13 September 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Inna Cherniavska, an individual developer based in Cyprus. By using the Sewing Soul app or website you accept them.

The service. Sewing Soul is an editorial media platform and community about sewing. Editorial cards summarise, comment on and link to original sources; the original articles, patterns, images and works remain the property of their authors and rights holders. Links to third-party sites are provided for reference; we are not responsible for their content or terms.

Accounts. You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in the app.

Your content. You keep the rights to the comments, photos and videos you post. You grant Sewing Soul a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store and distribute that content within the service for as long as it remains posted. You confirm that you have the rights to what you post and that it complies with the Community Guidelines. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or the Community Guidelines, and we may do so without notice where the breach is serious.

Community and moderation. Reports are reviewed by moderators. Automated tools may flag content for review; decisions that affect your account are made by people. You may appeal a decision by e-mailing support@sewingsoul.com.

Free service. Sewing Soul is free to use. There are no advertisements, sponsored posts, in-app purchases or subscriptions. Stories link to their original publishers; we receive no payment for those links.

Third-party images and sources. Editorial cards use images that we own, that creators provided, that are licensed to us, or that are published under open licences (for example Creative Commons or public-domain photographs from Wikimedia Commons); the author and licence are shown under the image. If a credit is missing or wrong, e-mail copyright@sewingsoul.com and we will fix it.

Intellectual property. The Sewing Soul name, wordmark, design and editorial texts are owned by us or our licensors. You may share links to posts freely; you may not scrape, reproduce or redistribute the service or its content commercially without permission.

Copyright complaints. If you believe content on Sewing Soul infringes your rights, e-mail copyright@sewingsoul.com with the URL, a description of the work and your contact details. We remove infringing content promptly and repeat infringers lose their accounts.

Disclaimer and liability. The service is provided "as is". Editorial content is informational; verify patterns, measurements, prices and techniques with the original source before relying on them. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (which, for a free service, is zero). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Notices under the EU Digital Services Act. Sewing Soul hosts user comments and is therefore an intermediary service under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065. Our single point of contact for authorities and users is legal@sewingsoul.com (English, Greek and Russian). Illegal content can be reported through the Report function or that address; we acknowledge, decide and explain each decision, and you may appeal.

Changes and termination. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. If you do not agree, stop using the service. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Contact: legal@sewingsoul.com.
